Miller Spectrum 875
This machine is an amazing upgrade from the previous models and has all the features of Spectrum 625 X-treme, except more…with increased power on top of a few additional features.
With the Spectrum 875 plasma cutter however, it is slightly heavier weighing at close to 52 pounds or 25kg, but this doesn’t mean that it is not portable to take around as it comes with an optional protective cover which is basically designed to allow ultimate storage, transportation and portability.
One of the most impressive addition to this plasma cutting model is the Patented Ultra-Quick Connect system allowing one of the fastest plasma torch, work cable connection and removal in the industry. At least, that’s what they claim at this point in time, but as you can imagine…this will no doubt become very handy.
The Wind Tunnel technology is also included in this metal cutter which have started since the 375 X-treme series. This special function controls the internal air flow that protects electrical components and PC boards from dirt, dust and debris, greatly improving it’s durability and reliability.
It’s LVC (Line Voltage Compensation) provides peak performance power between 187-264 volts for steady and cleaner cuts.

What do we think?
This is one of the most popular choice for Miller in terms of CNC automation cutting. It is not as portable as some of the earlier models, but the plasma cutter itself is extremely powerful and will cut through 1/2 inch of stainless steel with ease. Auto fire technology, ultra quick connect and wind tunnel are just some of the features the spectrum 875 brings at a very reasonable price.
