Lincoln Tomahawk 375 Air
Looking to cut light metal material without an external air compressor? Then you definitely need to check out this Lincoln hand held plasma cutter because it has a built-in internal air compressor that will allow you to cut up to 1/4 inch without much issues.
One of the beauty from the Lincoln Tomahawk models is that all the controls are placed up the front of the unit. So you don’t need to mess with anything inside the machine or at the back. This is great news if you ever want to change the air flow rate, because there will be no need to initiate the plasma arc. The controls itself are very simple to use and is straight forward even if you’ve never done any plasma cutting before. Definitely a good cutter for small fabrications but not for serious industrial use. The hand torch comes with a safety trigger guard preventing the torch from accidental firing.
Some consumers have reported problems with the consumable life using the Tomahawk 375 air plasma cutter, as the electrodes can be easily eroded ruining the actual torch gun thread. This problem has been complained by some users with a few believing that the problem can be solved by simply hooking it onto a quality external air system to reduce moisture air as much as possible.

What do we think?
Good performance within this price range and is suitable for many materials including mild steel, stainless steel, brass, copper and aluminum. Cannot be used for computer automation cutting and continuous use of internal air compressor not recommended as it can reduce the life of parts and consumables. Best to use with external air compressing system (unless you have no choice) to keep it durable. A good bargain choice for home hobbyist and small fabricators.
